Highlighting the achievements and promoting the dignity of people with disabilities!

Fundraising

The William Keown Trust is a registered charity and we rely solely on the generosity of the business community, schools and general public.

The funds generated go to help run the Trust and keep our work for people with disabilities going! There are many ways to help us in our fundraising including:

  • Business Donations – We already have the support of many businesses in Northern Ireland and we greatly appreciate the help. Without them, The Trust would not be able to fulfil its ambitions.
  • Charity of the Year –Why not appoint the William Keown Trust as your companies charity of the year. This way, all of the fundraising efforts will be focused on the William Keown Trust and it will allow your company to meet a fundraising target.
  • Schools Fundraising – Many schools over the years have successfully helped us in various fundraising efforts. The most recent has been the School Coin Trail Challenge! The William Keown Trust is very grateful for schools help and the coin trail was a great way for children to have fun, raise vital funds and get an awareness of disability issues at a young age.
  • If you think that your school could hold a coin trail for us or any other fundraising venture then please get in touch. We will be happy to hear from you!
  • Organise a fundraising event for us – The list of different fundraising ideas really is endless. From concerts to bag packing or sponsored walks, organising a fundraising event for the Trust can be a very enjoyable and rewarding experience.
  • Store and Street Flag Day Collections –The William Keown Trust regularly is out on store and street Flag Day collections. If you feel that you could spare us a couple of hours or even a day, we would love to have you on board.
  • Community Organisations and Clubs – If you are involved in a community group, club or youth organisation, we would love to have you on board as a fundraising partner. Such an event will not only raise funds for a worthwhile cause but also will raise awareness and profile of your organisation.
